Intellitec Medical Institute is a private college outside Denver in Colorado Springs that offers certificates and associate degree programs for a variety of healthcare careers, such as medical laboratory technicians, medical assistants and dental assistants.
Synergy conducted an extensive research initiative analyzing the Denver college’s marketing and brand strategy including utilization of logos, messaging and imagery, staff scripting and knowledge, sales and marketing material, advertising, PR, lead generation efforts and customer service methodologies. Synergy also evaluated external factors such as the competitive landscape, student feedback, alumni insights and local employers’ perspectives. In addition, Synergy calculated market opportunity based on targeted educational programs, geographic markets and enrollment goals. Synergy’s market research study culminated in a comprehensive report of estimated investments, time frame and strategies necessary for the school to differentiate its brand from entrenched competitors, effectively compete in a crowded market, fill growing market gaps, expand geographically and capture significant market share. The school’s leadership team used this data to determine its future path: merger, acquisition or expansion. Ultimately, the college was sold and merged with a much larger, well-established local competitor.
