Before IBT Laboratories merged with Viracor and was later acquired by Eurofins Scientific for $255 million, Synergy Marketing Group served as the lab’s outsourced marketing department leading a comprehensive marketing, advertising and PR program. From 1983- 2009 IBT Laboratories served as a clinical diagnostic and research laboratory specializing in immunology and allergy testing from its headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. In 2009, IBT merged with Viracor to form Viracor-IBT Laboratories. In 2014, Eurofins Scientific acquired the diagnostic laboratory for $255 million.
