Over the last five years, Amy has grown Synergy to become one of Indianapolis’ largest marketing and public relations (PR) agencies. As a 15-year marketing/PR expert, Amy prides herself in the professional development of Synergy’s staff and works hard to cultivate an environment of teamwork, creativity, continuous improvement, accountability, focus on client service and dedication to quality. In her role as president, she sets the agency’s quality standards, defines Synergy’s client service model, and develops the firm’s operational processes. Amy also actively participates in all clients’ strategic planning processes and provides them with ongoing counsel and support. Throughout her career she has helped her clients increase brand awareness, establish credibility, generate demand, launch new organizations and services, and measure return on investment. Her areas of expertise include: strategic planning; brand creation; crafting and effectively delivering strategic key messages to the marketplace; Internet marketing; and garnering prominent press coverage in local, regional, national and trade media outlets.
Chief Executive Officer
With nearly 15 years of business leadership experience, Marc infuses a business perspective into all clients’s marketing/PR programs to ensure their organizational objectives and marketing initiatives align for optimal and measurable results. He accomplishes this by playing an active role in strategic planning and by helping Synergy’s clients establish meaningful metrics-based priorities and goals. Marc also works with Synergy’s clients to identify, develop and cultivate mutually-beneficial partnerships within their industries and communities.’ He is an experienced facilitator and effective spokesperson who brings significant insights and value to Synergy’s clients’ leadership teams. Marc also offers extensive knowledge of the technology, telecommunications and manufacturing industries.
Chief Marketing Officer
Devra Callaghan has 20 years of strategic marketing, public relations and advertising experience. Throughout her impressive career, she has led the development and marketing of some of the country’s largest brands across a variety of consumer and business-to-business industries. These include financial services, legal, retail, health care, food service, arts, sports, entertainment, education, manufacturing, logistics/distribution and not-for-profits. As Synergy’s Chief Marketing Officer, Devra is responsible for setting the strategic direction on all client accounts and providing them with executive marketing counsel throughout the relationship. Her areas of expertise include market research and analysis, establishing brand and creative direction, strategic message development, determining the best way to reach target audience groups, creating sponsorship opportunities and measuring marketing ROI (return on investment). In her role, Devra is a strong client advocate and plays an active part of their strategic planning and budgeting processes.
Vice President of Creative Services
Susan Kuehnhold is an accomplished design professional with more than 18 years of experience in both the corporate and agency environments. She works with Synergy’s clients to set the strategic creative direction and design all of the tangible elements that become part of their brands. Her areas of expertise include brand development and management, advertising, Internet marketing, Web design and strategy, corporate communications and trade show support. In addition to leading Synergy’s brand strategy process, she manages Synergy’s Dallas / Ft. Worth office and oversees Synergy’s creative and Web development teams. Susan is known for her ability to listen carefully to her clients and translate their complex business goals into compelling brand identities that reflect the organization’s strategic direction and the leadership team’s vision. Throughout her career Susan has held a variety of executive-level creative positions including the formation of her own creative services firms: IdeaMix Graphics and PixelFizz. She has played a pivotal role in branding and marketing initiatives for regional, national and international businesses in industries such as technology and telecommunications; healthcare and life sciences; non-profit; restaurant and food services; retail; education; manufacturing and industrial; and financial services.
